Led by Rabbi Yitzchak & Tehilla Chazzan -whether they are religious or not we help them connect, bond and grow together. In light of the current crisis we have seen a tremendous increase in our israeli community to unite and connect. We would like to help at this time and increase our support to them as they are far from family and need us to help support them emotionally and financially. Please help us during this time and this can lead us to help a specific group in our community that usually doesn't get as much support.

Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum
The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum is dedicated to teaching the history of the Holocaust and advancing human rights to combat prejudice, hatred, and indifference. Amid rising antisemitism, the Museum remains committed to teaching students about the history of the Holocaust and antisemitism and about the difference between bystander and upstander behavior. The per-student cost for Museum offerings, while reasonable, is a barrier for at-risk and underserved students. The Museum Experience Fund (MEF) removes financial barriers so that students can access the Museum's lessons. MEF covers the cost of Museum admission, bus transportation to and from the Museum, and curriculum support to help teachers continue these lessons.

Friends of the Texas Holocaust, Genocide, and Antisemitism Advisory Commission
As antisemitism surges globally, Texas has emerged as a leader in combating this age-old hatred, thanks to the work of the Texas Holocaust, Genocide, and Antisemitism Advisory Commission (THGAAC.)

Founded in 2021 and chaired by Commissioner Ken Goldberg, the THGAAC is the official state agency reporting directly to the Governor’s office and the Legislature on issue related to antisemitism in Texas. The Commission educates and advises state leaders on effective strategies to understand, identify and combat antisemitism. Since October 7th, Governor Greg Abbott has tasked the THGAAC with developing ways for Texans to report and take proactive measures against antisemitism. The Commission’s recommendations have informed key policies, including the executive order aimed at safeguarding Jewish students on college campuses.

The THGAAC relies on FRIENDS OF THE THGAAC to fulfill its crucial mission. We hope to count on your support to advance this important work.

Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life
The national survey of American college students found that prior to Oct. 7, 67 percent of Jewish students said they felt physically safe on campus; after Oct. 7, only 46 percent felt physically safe. “Jewish students are experiencing a wave of antisemitism unlike anything we’ve seen before, but shockingly, non-Jewish students barely see it,” said Jonathan A. Greenblatt, ADL CEO. “Since the Oct. 7 massacre in Israel, Jewish students feel increasingly threatened on campus – but college leaders are not doing enough to address this very real fear of antisemitism.” As antisemitism continues to rise on college campuses and around the world, your generosity is especially critical right now. Your tax-deductible gift will help inspire every Jewish college student to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning, and Israel.

Texas Hillel Foundation
We enrich the lives of Jewish students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world.
Texas Hillel is the center of Jewish student life at the University of Texas and other colleges in the Austin area. Students come to Hillel to study, learn, pray, eat, interact with friends, and find community. We provide the space for students to connect to their unique Jewish identities based on their terms and interests. We cultivate micro-communities to help students connect their passions to their Jewish identity. College students want to change the world, yet they are confronting two significant challenges. 1. Mental health is a serious concern impacting our students, exacerbated by the aftermath of the pandemic and the current war and 2. Students are confronting antisemitism on our campus and in a world that is unprecedented in their lifetime. TEXAS HILLEL IS HERE FOR STUDENTS IN THIS MOMENT OF NEED Hillel's core mission and work have never been more needed, and we are here to support our students' physical and mental health. In addition to our signature programs, leadership training opportunities, and Shabbat offerings, we have partnered with Jewish Family Services and now have a trained mental health professional on staff. Students can receive affordable care without a long wait.
